Have you ever met a person who cannot seem to find their niche in life? I am talking about the kind of person that is doing a different job every time you happen to talk to them. One of the therapist’s that I work with is married to a woman that fits into this category. I worked with him for four years. Through the course of that time we became friends. We would socialize with our spouses a few times a year. We I moved on to a different job we still tried to stay in touch.

When I had first met his wife she was a sales representative for a granite company. She was selling granite counter tops. She seemed to enjoy this a great deal and was filled with information about the different kinds and qualities of granite. About nine months later we got together for dinner and she was telling us that they would not be able to stay our late because she was taking her real estate exam the next day. She had been working with so many contractors and real estate agents in selling the counter tops that she decided that she would like to do this for a living because the commission was much greater on property than it was on the granite sales. Several months past and we again got together for dinner. I asked her how she did on her real estate exam. She said that she had not passed it, but was still very interested in getting into real estate; however she had just started taking classes to become a beautician. I was very surprised to hear this because being a beautician seemed like a huge departure from selling granite or real estate. She said that she always had an interest in hair styles as well as manicures and make-up application. She thought it would be fun to work in this field; however she was still going to take her real estate exam again. She said that you can talk about such a wide variety of topics when you are cutting someone’s hair or doing their nails so the thought she might be able to sale her salon customer’s real estate also. She said that most people have a great trust in their barbers. I had to laugh at her creative ideas. She by this time was in her late forties and was still coming up with the perfect career.

Time seemed to get away from us for a year and a half. We had not seen or talked to them. We called and made arrangements to have dinner. When I asked her what she was doing she told me that she was selling awnings for commercial buildings. She never took her real estate exam again. She had skin reactions to the chemicals used in beauty school so she did not complete that either. She is now talking about going to school for a bachelor’s degree; however she does not know what she would want to study.

When I began to contemplate a career in law, I also had to consider the tests I had to pass in order to get there. It is generally understood that test scores -- particularly for the Law School Admissions Test -- will be one of the primary criteria that law schools will weigh when reviewing candidates. This means that I needed to be ready for that exam with the proper LSAT preparation.

Fortunately, the Internet makes that study time I was going to have to invest so much more productive. Whether I chose to take online prep courses, check out the free study materials available on various websites, or order resources from an online retailer, my handy dandy computer would be my best tool in effective LSAT preparation.

First, I found plenty of study guides that I could order from online bookstores. While time spent in front of the computer was going to be incredibly helpful, I would also need to practice for my exams using a paper and pencil. At least that's what all of the experts in LSAT preparation told me! I could order sample tests to take over and over, since practice makes perfect. Or I could invest in books filled with expert tips and strategies on how best to respond to questions on the test.

Next, I discovered that I could take online courses that were specifically geared toward LSAT preparation. I could also sign up for in-person classes at local venues with just a handful of students and an instructor that I could ask questions of and get individual help when necessary. There was even private tutoring if I felt that there was a particular area that I needed extra help with.

The required time for these different LSAT preparation courses varied by quite a bit, but all of them offered sufficient time to get ready for the test. I found that the best option for me was a combination of online courses and books that I could read at my own pace. I'd also need to get my hands on a few practice exams at some point, so that was on my agenda as well. I know I'm facing many hours of LSAT preparation in the near future, but I know that this test is a critical factor in getting into the law school of my dreams.

With aspirations of a career in the elite world of truth and justice, I know I'm going to have to work hard to get what I want. English Grammar Lessons

I have heard that English, as a second or third language, is one of the hardest ones in the world to learn. I have no doubt in my mind that this is true, even if English is my first and only language. Many have problems with English grammar lessons, and it is no wonder that so many don’t have a good grasp of it. Even someone like me, who writes for a living, can make simple mistakes. You may even find a few in this article. The rules are so complicated, and there are so many exceptions in both spelling and grammar, that it should almost be expected that many make simple mistakes.

Almost all schools have English grammar lessons all throughout the years. That means students have some sort of instruction each year, even if the entire class is not geared towards grammar. I always enjoyed these classes, and always did very well, but I realized that I didn’t get all that I could have gotten out of them. The exceptions are so numerous that one could study English grammar lessons for their entire lives and still not be sure of all of the rules. Some mistakes are so common that many use them throughout life and no one seems to notice.

In fact, I thought I was okay with my English grammar lessons until I went to college. I had to have a few English classes, even though it had nothing to do with my career choice at the time. I learned that I really hadn’t learned all that I thought I had, and I was still make a lot of grammar mistakes. I learned quite a bit through the course of these rather short classes, and was left with the feeling that, even though I had improved, I could still use more help and should find a few more English grammar lessons to take on my own.

You can find lessons on just about anything if you look online or ask at your local community college. You don’t have to be going for a degree to get these classes in most cases. Simply ask about some English grammar lessons, and tell the school or program that you simply want them for your own enrichment. You will probably have to pay for the class, but it might not be that much, and you can get a lot of out if. These have great benefit for those that are learning English as a second language, but are helpful to anyone who has spoken English their entire lives.

Learning about William Shakespeare has been a fascinating process for me. Ever since reading William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in 8th grade, I have been fascinated by the man. For a long time, I wasn't interested so much in facts about William Shakespeare as I was in his plays. I read basically every Shakespeare play I could get hold of, although I did not understand all of the lines. I read King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream. The latter was my favorite. It was humorous, lighthearted, and just as enjoyable.

I think that I learned the most about William Shakespeare simply by watching his plays. I got a Shakespeare DVD a week ago, and it includes several different productions. I've been watching it nonstop since I got it. My favorite way to watch the plays, however, is to see them live. Although there aren't a lot of theater companies around where I live, occasionally there is a Shakespeare festival up north. I will go there with some friends or my parents to see a few plays now and then. It is always the highlight of my month. There's nothing quite like seeing Hamlet put on by professional theater. It is really exciting to see the characters come to life so vividly.

Sometimes, I do learn a little more about William Shakespeare plays simply by reading them. There are certain nuances in the language that are difficult to absorb while you're watching a live Shakespeare production. Everything goes fast and the language is so difficult sometimes it takes all you have just to get the main points. But reading Shakespeares plays gives you a little bit more luxury. You can really take it all in at your own pace, not worrying so much about keeping up with is going on. This can also enhance you play viewing experience, since you will already know what is going on and be able to concentrate more on the interpretations than on understanding the story itself.

Lately, I've been focusing more on learning about William Shakespeare and the life he lead. I've always been fascinated by how Shakespeare's writing works on a few levels. There is a main story and then there is a sort of subordinates story meant for popular entertainment. I learned recently that this is no coincidence. Apparently, the comic relief characters are meant for the hoi polloi. The masses of Victorian England who came in would be less concerned with the main story than they would with the antics of minor characters. That is why these little people would be put in comic relief. Meanwhile, the Royal courtesans watching the play could concentrate on the epic struggles of the rulers of the land. One of the best things About William Shakespeare is that there was something for everyone.
